Carolyn Beck and Tamer Bașar of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Rebecca Smith of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine will give a lecture followed by a Q&A. They will introduce several mathematical models and discuss the plans of their project team in the development of models, algorithms, and software tools to support the state-level PCR (polymerase chain reaction) and serological testing efforts.
