pay it forward

Whether it's been five years or 25, the time you spent at CIT has shaped your life. The value of your degree grows every year, based on continued support and success of the college. As you flourish in your career, we hope you will take a minute to remember where and how it all started and give back to the College of Engineering.

did you know...

Over 60 major film or television productions have been shot on location in the Pittsburgh area? The list includes the Academy Award-winning Silence of the Lambs, Mothman Prophecies, Lorenzo’s Oil, Hoffa and the cult classic Night of the Living Dead.

The Wonder Boys was filmed right here on the Carnegie Mellon campus, along with scenes from Creepshow and Flashdance. In 2006, Dennis Quaid and Sara Jessica Parker wowed students and faculty alike while making Smart People, a soon-to-be released film about the fictional life of a Carnegie Mellon professor. See a list of productions filmed in the 'Burgh!

recognize this picture?

We've gone into the archives to give you a blast from the past. But there's a catch—we can't identify the people in these pictures or really know when they were taken. Check out the latest mystery photo to see if you can help, and read updates from alumni who identified themselves.
