Please join us this April 7-9 in Pittsburgh for the biennial Engineering Sustainability Conference, co-hosted by the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. ES '19 will be held in the David Lawrence Convention Center.

Theme

This year's theme, A Climate for Change, will explore the following topics:
  • Regenerative Built Environment
  • One Water in the Urban Environment
  • Sustainable Mobility
  • Circular Economy
  • Engineering Sustainability Learning and Engagement
  • Behavioral Science for Sustainability (new for 2019)

Speakers

There will be many speakers on panels and giving individual talks. Speaking on a plenary panel about behavioral science and engineering for sustainability is EPP's very own Inês M.L. Azevedo.

Student Registration

Pitt and CMU students are offered a discounted rate to attend ES19. Full conference attendance is $90, and one-day participation passes are $60. Students can register here. General registration for faculty, staff, and any other interested attendees is listed below the embedded map.
