Erin is a junior from Dubai, UAE, studying ECE. She joined ESC to help foster a close-knit community of dedicated engineers at CMU. Outside of academics, Erin loves playing basketball, exploring Pittsburgh, and reading books!
Sarah Bridgeman
Major: Materials Science and Engineering, Engineering and Public Policy

Sarah is excited to be a part of ESC so she can give back to her academic community and also help foster a sense of belonging among CITers! In her free time, Sarah enjoys rock climbing, reading, and listening to podcasts.
Nikita Karnik

Sophomore
Nikita joined ESC because she feels passionate about creating an inclusive and positive environment for the engineering student body. Outside of ESC, Nikita enjoys playing tennis and painting.
Hannah Noh
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Junior
Hannah is a junior studying mechanical engineering with a minor in music. She really values her community and enjoys planning events, which is why she joined ESC. On campus, she is involved with CIA buggy, Society of Women Engineers, and All University Orchestra. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, spending time with friends, cooking, and going to the gym.
Shawn Noronha
Major: Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering
Senior
Shawn joined ESC to help organize events for his peers and foster a sense of community across majors in CIT. In addition to ESC, Shawn is involved with CMU EMS, JFC, Scotty Survivor, and First-Year Orientation. In his free time, he enjoys playing NYT games, going on walks, and eating out with his friends.
Zeynep Isil Orucu

Zeynep joined ESC to help foster a tight-knit community amongst her peers. In her free time, she is involved in Greek life and likes to read.
Rayann Rani Ramoutar
Major: Electrical and Computer Engineering
Sophomore
Rayann joined ESC after enjoying her experience on the CIT First-Year Advisory Board. She enjoys bringing people together with fun events. Rayann also enjoys cooking delicious vegetarian food, roller skating, playing basketball (although she's not athletic whatsoever), and reading mystery novels.
Keya Sharma
Major: Materials Science and Engineering, Engineering and Public Policy
Junior
Keya is a junior studying Materials Science Engineering with an additional major in Engineering and Public Policy. She joined ESC to help build and strengthen the engineering community through fun events. Outside of class, she is involved in Mayur-SASA as their PR Chair and is a Community Advisor for a First-Year Housing Community on campus. In her free time, she likes reading and taking walks around Pittsburgh, especially to Treat in Shadyside!
Moon Tan
Major: Mechanical Engineering, Engineering and Public Policy

Moon joined ESC to contribute to fostering a sense of belonging among engineering students, helping them connect, collaborate, and support each other. Outside of ESC, she is a part of Women in MechE and CMU Table Tennis Club. Moon enjoys cooking, crocheting, and sketching in her spare time.
Perrin Tong

Perrin is a junior majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Outside of class, he enjoys going on adventures in Pittsburgh, doing Taekwondo, and playing video games. He is excited to participate in ESC to help bring the College of Engineering community together.
Doreen Valmyr

Doreen is a senior studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. She joined ESC to help create a positive impact for College of Engineering students through community-building events. On campus, she is part of Senate and the Society of Women Engineers. In her spare time, she enjoys watching science fiction movies and playing Sudoku.
Yasmin Zaraf
Major: Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering
Junior
Yasmin is a junior studying Materials Science and Engineering and an additional major in Biomedical Engineering. She is a board member of the Muslim Student Association and the Arab Student Organization, a Tartan Scholar Ambassador, and a member of the Society of Women Engineers. She joined ESC to help foster an inclusive, collaborative community within CIT. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and trying out new restaurants!
