Stephanie Caruso is a student affairs consultant for Carnegie Mellon University’s Silicon Valley campus. A part of the student affairs team, Caruso supports various special projects and tasks associated with all functional areas of student affairs.

Prior to working as a student affairs consultant, Caruso was the associate director of student services and engagement for the CMU-SV campus from 2020-2023. She has also worked at Yale University where she advised and oversaw student organizations and the student body government in Yale College. She started her career in academic affairs at CMU-SV in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, first as the academic services coordinator and student organizations advisor and later as an academic advisor.

Caruso has a master’s of education in student affairs administration from the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse and a bachelor’s of science in movement science from the University of Michigan. Outside of work, she loves trail running, hiking with her husband and daughter, and cooking new vegetarian recipes.
