Staff Recognition Award

Important Dates

In order to honor outstanding staff members, Carnegie Institute of Technology has established the "Staff Recognition Award." Recipients will receive an engraved award and a cash prize of $500.

Part of the mission of CIT includes the creation and dissemination of engineering knowledge in a friendly and supportive atmosphere for the benefit and welfare of all peoples. To this extent, nominees for the award will be judged on the basis of their performance in advancing CIT toward these goals.

Please note that length of service is not a primary factor in selecting awardees, as the length of service is recognized separately by the Staff Service Award.

Nomination Guidelines

Eligibility - The award is open to all full or part-time CIT staff members not currently serving on the Award Committee and who have not received the award in the last three years.
