Our approach to graduate studies is decentralized. Each department develops and manages its own degree programs and its own admission process.
Most departments offer a course-based MS program, as well as a research-based MS option and Ph.D. programs. It is our culture to encourage collaboration in education and research across disciplines, departments and colleges within Carnegie Mellon.
