Student Spotlights
"An understanding and appreciation between various cultures is essential for international research. To be a leader in science requires much more than just a technical expertise; it requires entrepreneurship and skills in leadership, communication, and most of all cultural awareness with the ever increasing global collaboration." --Aanchal Raj

CIT students are creative both in and out of the classroom. That holds true for their adventures abroad as well. Our students study abroad for various lengths of time in places all over the world. They also participate in research, volunteer, and work experiences abroad to help them round out their educations at Carnegie Mellon and gain a global perspective.

Read about our students' experiences by using the links to the left. Their creativity and resourcefulness in finding the right opportunities will impress you, but what they've learned along the way is what is truly amazing.

You can also follow our current students' experiences abroad!
