Mapping Large Spaces

Mobile robot mapping is a core technology to any mobile robot application. We have developed core algorithms to map out large spaces without the benefit of GPS. We have also developed algorithms to cover large spaces outside, once again without GPS. Students interested in programming mobile robots and extending their capability. Experiments will be done both indoors on large multi-floor buildings and outdoors on large fields.
