At the dawn of its second century—with alumnus Dr. Pradeep K. Khosla (CIT '84 and '86) at its helm—the College of Engineering at Carnegie Mellon is poised
In its annual “America’s Best Colleges” edition, U.S. News and World Report recently ranked Carnegie Mellon Engineering sixth in graduate education amongs top tier institutions. But, we must work harder than ever to secure our position as a prominent national engineering program.
Our students are of the first rank, as is our faculty. Students study directly with and participate in sophisticated research with renowned faculty scholars who are as committed to teaching as they are to research. High-quality classroom experiences distinguish the College of Engineering; however, we are challenged to recruit the best and brightest students into our programs.
We welcome you to come back and visit CIT. See an old professor or meet our students. Offer an internship, a fellowship, or become a mentor or a visiting lecturer. Or just come back and visit, in person or online. We look forward to seeing you again. |
