First Ph.D. Students Conference in Electrical and Computer Engineering (StudECE)

June 28 — June 29
Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP)

The first Ph.D. Students Conference in Electrical and Computer Engineering (StudECE), which is sponsored by Carnegie Mellon|Portugal, is a forum for the presentation of technological advances, research results, work-in-progress research and state-of-the-art in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied Electrical and Computer Engineering. The scientific program will include invited speakers and fully refereed contributions that will be published in the conference proceedings.

StudECE's target are mainly Ph.D. students involved in research activities, but graduate students and researchers are welcome. The works, which can be non-original, should be submitted as extended abstracts for consideration by the Technical Program Committee. The accepted papers will be compiled and distributed only in electronic format. It is an ideal time for socializing, sharing experiences between young and senior researchers, showcasing work and looking ahead to the future.
