Graduate Biomedical Engineering Society (GBMES) presents the 6th Annual GBMES Distinguished Speaker Symposium: Discussions at the Interface of Nature and Technology. The symposium will explore multidisciplinary research areas that have emerged from unique intersections of nature, science and engineering, such as synthetic biology, and the potential impacts of these fields on medicine, technology, and entrepreneurial prospects. Main events include lunch, an informal discussion forum, student presentations in the form of a networking poster session, and the keynote seminar.
